Leeds & Reading 2019: Who Should Play

Now that Leeds & Reading 2018 is over, its time to look ahead to next year. This year was probably the most ambitious line up the festival has tried in recent memory. However, it felt like it fell a bit flat as many of the acts didn’t fit well on the line up amongst others. Acts that should have brought in huge crowds failed to do so and it was very noticeable. Personally, I think the festival should adopt a formula on the line up where the one day focuses on rock/metal, another day focusing on indie music and then another which focuses on rap/hip hop/pop music. This way none of the acts overlap with one another and there is something for everyone that way. Whilst sat in the press tent this year, many reporters were saying what the festival lacked was an exclusive headliner or an act that would easily pull in large crowds for the festival. so without further ado, here is my  rough line up for who should play Leeds & Reading 2019.
