Yep! It’s that time of year when the summer holiday is officially over and the painful dose of reality kicks in.
Whether you’re going back to your job where you hate all your colleagues, or you’re going back to school for another year of educational hell, we can all agree that summer ending is dreaded by all of us.
However! There are so many good things to look forward to now that summer is coming to an end!
Halloween is by far my favourite holiday. Halloween is celebrated by many and is a great excuse to dress up and have a laugh with your friends. (If you actually have friends, that is.) You get to eat as many sweets as you can and if you’re old enough, you can even have a drink. Oh! And carving pumpkins into Jack-O’-Lanterns!! Seriously, who doesn’t love Halloween?! (I can’t stress this enough haha!)
Although we don’t officially celebrate the holiday here in the U.K., many people do make a point of having a great dinner and a chitchat with their family and friends. It’s a great time to be thankful for the life you have – all ups and downs included!
Of course. The almighty. The entirety of the Christmas period is magical and loved by most. Christmas Eve is filled with excitement and children waiting for Santa Claus to come. Boxing Day is the perfect day for pigging out and eating all of the leftovers from the pervious day. (Which is probably why I end up gaining a stone at this time of year haha!)
My point is, even though it seems like an absolute nightmare going back to your daily lifestyle, just remember that you have all this coming your way. Think of it like a.. Nightmare before Christmas! (No pun intended.. well maybe a little..)
Anyway, let the countdown begin!
This is me, signing off!
